Angela Evelyn Bassett has been an American actress since late 1980s. Known for her work in film and television since the late 1980s she's won numerous awards such as two Golden Globe Awards and sixteen NAACP Image Awards in addition to nominations for two Academy Awards and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett originates born in New York New York. Her home was Winston-Salem North Carolina.
